A breakdown of This Sunday May 21, 2006

What a day we had on Sunday! It's so awesome to see how the Lord confirms His word with signs following. Sunday morning we spent considerable time in 1 Peter 1:13-15.

What we discovered is that:

* It's important to be sober

* It's important to rest our hope fully upon the grace of God

* It's important to recognize the revelation of the Lord

* It's important to be obedient

* It's important not to conform to our former lusts

* It's important not to remain ignorant

* It's important to know God is holy

* It's important to know that we are to be holy

With the word spoken on Sunday morning we were so blessed during our CentrePoint Family Night Gathering. The word of God came in a prophetic fashion as Pastor Jim Hanson yielded to the moving of the Holy Spirit.

What was so awesome was to see so many people who were ready to receive on Sunday night. The prophetic word was right on and many needs were met. The Lord used Pastor Jim to speak to situations he had no personal clue about that came as a surprise to many. But the key is that because the servant of God girded up the loins of his mind, the accuracy of the prophecies given brought much hope.

We saw first hand what it takes to rest our hope upon the grace of the Lord and watch the revelation of Jesus Christ bring the manisfestation many have been longing to see. Truly there was edification, exhortation and comfort brought to all who would receive it.

There is something about the presence of the Lord. Even before we officially started the evening meeting I sensed something special was going on. There was such a festive atmosphere as we connected with each other. It was like we were a family who was just overjoyed to see each other because we hadn't seen each other in a long time.

Before the opening prayer, a spirit of worship prevailed throughout the congregation. This was truly a special night. God met us and we met Him. What an incredible combination.

In closing, I must tell you that our monthly family gatherings with CentrePoint Fullerton, Faith Hope and Love, Claremont Foursquare Chruch and CentrePoint Chino have been totally different each time. The Lord has met us right where we've needed to be met each time. I just can't wait until our next gathering.

Just so you'll know. We'll have James deMelo with us next time on June 25th. Be sure to free up your schedule to be with us. All are invited and all should expect to be blessed.

Pastor, Thank you so much for obeying the Holy Spirit and have this class! I have been reading the book every chance I get and wish I had read it years ago. I would have avoided alot of heartache! I am going to try and get my daughter to come with me.

Theresa,

Thanks for your prayer. The timing of this class is so perfect. I know that those who attend will be blessed beyond their wildest imagination. You're right about what could have been avoided. Just think, you're now in a place not to repeat your past mistakes and learn things that can save you from heartache in the future.

It would be great to see you and your daughter.

Stay blessed,

Pastor Cedric
