Be blessed this 4th of July 2009

Hello CentrePoint Family & Friends,

Here we are getting ready to celebrate Independence Day. But are we really independent? The truth is we depend on God. There are people all over the United States who are trying to figure out who they can depend on.. Even though we as a citizens of the United States are free to do what we please in accordance with the law of the land, we as Kingdom Citizens are to depend on God Almighty for our very lives.

It amazes me how so many people are looking to others to depend on during season of economic challenge. The bigger challenge is that the once thought of institutions of security are no longer there to lean on. But God... God has never left us nor will He ever leave us. He is with us in good times and in tough times. One of the major keys we must remember is that He has given us His Spirit to lead us into all truth. The truth that endures through all generations is here for us to navigate our way through the land mines of life. But more than that, the Spirit of the Lord is still teaching us as we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

What a great day to be alive. I am just imagining how the Lord will use you during this season to be a blessing to those who come across your path. Can you agree with me that the Lord will use you to be a blessing to somebody else? Believe me, He really wants to use you. The world has been waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. That's you and me they have been waiting for.

I want to encourage you to keep you expectation high. Keep your mind pure. Make sure you speak God's word. Be reminded to honor your Father with the fruit of your lips giving Him praise. One last thing to remember, "one word from God can change your life." Are you looking to hear that word?
