Holy Ghost Power vs. Personal Power

Personal power is a subject that many people are learning about these days. I pose this question to you. How does it rate against Holy Ghost Power?

As believers we're probably quick to say Holy Ghost Power is the way to go. If you agree with this, you're on the right track.

1. Jesus is far above all principality and power and might and dominion
Ephesians 1:21

2. God has made us alive together with Christ...and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ.

Ephesians 2:5,6

3. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works...
Ephesians 2:9

Just looking at these three passages of scripture, we can easily see that Holy Ghost Power is the power we as believers want to lean on.

Starting with Jesus who is above all power...(He operated by the power of the Holy Ghost)

then moving to how God has raised us up together with Jesus...(We are alongside Jesus)

and then lastly how God has made us His workmanship for good works...(The work we do is on behalf of the One who gives the power)

Holy Ghost Power vs. Personal Power is a battle we have to rightly discern. To operate in our personal power can lead us down the wrong road. It takes a man or woman of God knowing the word well enough know the difference.

Here's a point to remember if you remember nothing else. "Holy Ghost Power glorifies God as an end result while personal power bring glory to man."
